Kissimmee Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries
Motorcyclist Stephen Quill, 44, of Kissimmee, who was struck by an SUV driven by Matthew Hayward, 41, of Vero Beach on July 19 has finally succumbed to his injuries. Hayward ran a red light at Seralago Boulevard and ran into Quill who was crossing the intersection.
Quill was being treated at Orlando Regional Medical Center before he was taken off life support. Investigations are still continuing.
2 New Tenants For Village Shops at Bellalago
Two new tenants, Rita’s Italian Ices and Collazzo Accounting will join nine others at the Village Shops at Bellalago situated on Pleasant Hill Road this year. Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant, McDonald’s, SunTrust Bank, Fifth/Third Bank, Citrus Garden Chinese Restaurant and Walgreens drug store will open sometime this year, and Publix is expected to open by August.
KUA Releases 2007 Annual Report
Among the utility’s highlights for 2007:
- Operating revenue grew by 17.8 percent to $190.3 million from $161.6 in 2006.
- Operating expenses increased by 17.5 percent to $178.9 million from $152.2 million in 2006.
