Man Injured in Kissimmee Shooting

A man suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon following a shooting in Kissimmee.
Officers with the Kissimmee Police Department said they arrived at 914 Woodside Circle sometime around 5:30 p.m. after receiving a call of a shooting.
They found a man at the site with a gunshot wound. The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Osceola Regional Hospital.
Witnesses told the police they heard the shots, but did not see the shooter. An agency K-9 dog could not locate the suspect. Police said the victim did not reside at the apartment complex where the incident occurred.

Jose Montalbo, 31, of Kissimmee suffered numerous broken bones and bleeding from his head when he fell from the rooftop of Florida Hospital in Orlando. According to a police report, Montalbo was preparing to wash windows on the south side of the main hospital building with another window washer, when he fell from the roof to the second floor. He was in critical condition late Monday at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
2 New Tenants For Village Shops at Bellalago

Two new tenants, Rita’s Italian Ices and Collazzo Accounting will join nine others at the Village Shops at Bellalago situated on Pleasant Hill Road this year. Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant, McDonald’s, SunTrust Bank, Fifth/Third Bank, Citrus Garden Chinese Restaurant and Walgreens drug store will open sometime this year, and Publix is expected to open by August.

Four Persons Arrested After ATM Robbery

April 24, 2008 - Four suspects, Jose Rivera, 20, Josue Stella, 21, Nelson Diaz, 22, and Luis Trinidad, 21, have been taken into custody after robbing an ATM and shooting at a deputy. They were located at a home on Easy Street in the Renee Terrace subdivision in Kissimmee. Read more
